YIDDISH SHAKESPEARE PROJECT
Theater and Education Group
The Yiddish Shakespeare project is a theater troupe and educational group which puts up Shakespeare plays translated into Yiddish. They wanted a rebrand to make their organization feel professional and established. It was key to create a brand identity that was bilingual.
The end result features a primary logo mark which is the acronym for the Yiddish Shakespeare Project in custom art-deco Yiddish lettering which pays homage to the era of peak Yiddish Theater in the United States. The brand identity is fully modular and bilingual. It also heavily features old photgraphs of classical Yiddish Theater and paintings of Shakespeare plays.
